Which AM Law 101-200 Firms Have The Most Chambers Ranked Lawyers?

This ranking looks at which AM Law 101-200 firms have the highest density of Chambers ranked lawyers. Bracewell and Stoel Rives took top positions, and just 3 firms possessed more than 1 lawyer ranked 'Star Individual.'


Just 3 AM Law 101-200 firms have more than one "Star Individual"

The "Star Individual" rank sits above band 1 and is awarded only to lawyers with "exceptional recommendations in their field."


Across the AM Law 101-200, only 19 firms have one at all, and just three have more than one: Munger Tolles & Olson (4), Shook, Hardy & Bacon (3) and Dickinson Wright (2). On average, Star Individuals make up just 1% of Chambers ranked AM Law second hundred lawyers. Lawyers ranked in bands 2-3 account for more than half (55%).


Our analysis found no meaningful correlation between a firm's proportion of Chambers ranked lawyers and its Revenue per Lawyer (RPL). Firms that increased their proportion of ranked lawyers the most saw no corresponding rise in RPL.

In this analysis, a lawyer is classified as ‘Chambers ranked’ if they were awarded a ranking in the year prior to, or the year of the measurement. For example, A lawyer ranked in either the 2023 or 2024 USA Chambers rankings would be classed as ‘Chambers ranked’ in the May 2024 measurement.
